Product Overview

NE555 Timer DIP IC are precision timing circuits capable of producing accurate time delays subsequently oscillations. It was first introduced in the 1970s and has since become one of the most commonly used ICs in the world due to its reliability and ease of use.

Features of NE555 Timer DIP IC

  • A stable or monostable operation
  • Adjustable duty cycle
  • TTL compatible output can sink though source up to 200mA
  • Single external resistor and capacitor network controls in reality the time interval in monostable operation mode.
  • The two external resistors and a single external capacitor  controls the frequency and duty cycle independently in the stable mode of operation,
  • The threshold and trigger levels normally are two-thirds and one-third, respectively, of VCC.
  • Control voltage terminal can alter these levels.
  • The flip-flop is set and the output goes high when the trigger input falls below the trigger level.

  • Provides stable and accurate timing and has wide operating temperature range.
