The ADXL345 is a compact, low-power 3-axis accelerometer with high resolution (13), measuring range up to 16g.

The digital output data is 16-bit two’s compliment format, through the SPI (3-wire or 4-wire) or I2C digital interface.

ADXL345 is well suited for mobile device applications. It can measured in tilt, static acceleration of gravity,and also the motion or shock caused by dynamic acceleration.

Its high resolution (4 mg / LSB), capable of measuring less than 1.0 tilt angle.

This module can be used in variety of applications like active and inactive motion detection, Tap sensing and double-click action sensing, Freefall Detection etc
