FSUSB30UMX USB Switch IC
The FSUSB30 is a low power, 2-port, high-speed USB 2.0 switch. The device is configured as a double-pole double-throw (DPDT) switch and is designed to operate between two high-speed FJ. The FSUSB30 is optimized for switching between high-speed (480Mbps) sources or high-speed and full-speed (12Mbps) sources. The FSUSB30 meets USB2.0 requirements and has a very low on-capacitance (CON) of 3.7pF. The wide bandwidth of this device (720MHz) exceeds the bandwidth required to pass the third harmonic, which minimizes edge and phase distortion of the signal. Excellent channel-to-channel crosstalk performance allows for minimal interference.
The FSUSB30 includes special circuitry on the D+ / D- pins that allows the device to withstand overvoltage conditions when powered off. At the same time, the device minimizes power consumption when the control voltage applied to the S pin is less than the supply voltage (VCC) . This feature is particularly important for ultra-portable applications such as mobile phones,allowing direct interface to the general-purpose I/O of the baseband processor. Other applications include switches and connectors shared in portable cell phones, PDAs, digital cameras, printers, and notebook computers.
