Sharp IR Sensor GP2Y0A21YK0F is the integrated combination of the distance measuring sensor unit PSD (position sensitive detector), the reflectivity of various objects of the IRED (infrared light emitting diode) and the signal processing circuit, and the distance detection that is not easily affected by the ambient temperature and working time. Triangulation method, this device output corresponds to the voltage detection distance, so this sensor can also be used as a proximity sensor
