MT3608 SOT23-6 Aerosemi is a DC to DC Variable voltage Step up Regulator Chip in a SOT23-6 Package. It has input voltage range of 2V to 24V DC, and output voltage range of 5V to 28V DC. It is highly efficient at 97%.

The MT3608 Step Up Regulator has a switching frequency of 1.2 Mhz. So, it allows to use low ESR capacitors, and small inductors in the design, ultimately reducing the size of the final product.
