1.The fingerprint module is an integrated fingerprint processing module that integrates the optical path and fingerprint processing part. It has the characteristics of small size, low power consumption and simple interface. It has high reliability, fast recognition speed, good adaptability to dry and wet fingers, and fast fingerprint search.

2.When the fingerprint image is read, it has sensitive response and judgment to the wet and dry fingers, and obtains the best image quality, which is suitable for a wide range of people.

3.The self-learning adaptation function can also be customized, and the parameters are automatically adjusted according to changes in the user’s habits, climate, etc., to achieve a better match.

4.With self-learning function, in the process of fingerprint recognition, after extracting new fingerprint feature values, the feature values are merged into the previous fingerprint features, and the more practical the use, the better.

5.The module also has an inductive finger function. When the finger is pressed to the fingerprint collection surface, the module touch pin outputs a high level.

6.The communication interface of module is USB and UART communication interface. This module acts as a slave device, and the master device sends relevant commands to control it.

Working principle:

Through the principle of optical imaging, the lines created by the unevenness of the skin on the inner side of the finger will form various fingerprint images. The texture of the skin is different in patterns, breakpoints and intersections. They are called in information processing. “Feature points”, each finger’s characteristics are different, that is, unique, relying on this uniqueness, we can associate a person with his fingerprint, by pre-storing his fingerprint By comparing the fingerprints, you can verify his true identity.
The fingerprint identification system collects, analyzes and compares fingerprints through special photoelectric conversion equipment and image processing technology, and can identify personal identity automatically, quickly and accurately. The system mainly includes processes such as fingerprint image acquisition, fingerprint image processing, feature extraction, and comparison and matching of feature values.
