ADXL345 SMD Accelerometer IC

ADXL345 is a small, thin, ultra-low power, 3-axis accelerometer with high resolution (13 bits) and a measurement range of ±16 g. You can access the digital output data in 16-bit two’s complement format via an SPI (3-wire or 4-wire) or I2C digital interface

ADXL345 is very suitable for mobile device applications. It can be used in tilt detection applications.The sensor measures not only static gravitational acceleration but also dynamic acceleration caused by motion or shocks. Its high resolution (3.9 mg/LSB) can measure tilt angle changes of less than 1.0°. The device provides several special detection functions. The detection function checks for motion by comparing acceleration on any axis to a user-set threshold
